Fondant hat
I have never made a hat I liked - until now!
Yarn - Felicia's handspun yarn
Pattern - My own, 72 stitches using size 7 needles
I can't tell you how much I loved knitting this hat. Knitting with this yarn was an absolute joy. It's so soft and I loved seeing the yarn's colors change while I knit. I also had no idea that the yarn would stripe up as it did. I am so impressed with Felicia's color sense and her spinning/dyeing skills.
I only used up one of my skeins of this yarn (the larger one) so I might make wristers out of the other skein. Has this encouraged me to dye and spin my own yarn? No way! I'm content to let the experts do their thing and I can just enjoy knitting their yarn. Althought I do recall there was a time that I said I would never knit socks... hmmm...
