Cherries! Baby Bjorn! Bobbi Bear! Oh my!
Mina and Steve asked a couple of weeks ago if I could handle babysitting both Anna and Sam for one day this week. I said yes, but when Rob heard my predicament, he offered to take the day off and help me. What a guy! He took care of Anna, who declared him "The best uncle ever!" (ok, she only has two uncles, but still!) and I took care of Sam, as usual.
Anna had some cherries at the park. As Rob said, the photo looks like she should be saying, "I ate the cherries with some fava beans and a nice chianti."
A phone pic of Sam getting his ears tickled by Rob while sitting in the Baby Bjorn. He's such a cutie!
Drum roll.... here's Baby Bobbi Bear!
Pattern: Baby Bobbi Bear from Blue Sky Alpaca
Yarn: 2 skeins of Pakucho Organic Cotton in Vanilla, knit on size 7 needles
I had such a fun time knitting this bear! The pattern goes pretty fast, and although my hands were stiff knitting with this yarn and double pointed needles, it wasn't too bad. I have to admit that I did a lousy job of sewing on the ears. I figured this was a test run and I'll do better next time. I love the fact that his head is so big!
Guess who's the lucky owner of this bear?
Aren't they cute together? I love a man who can admit that he likes teddy bears too!

Love everything about this blog entry! The bear is adorable, as is the picture of Sammy!
The sweetness of this post is killing me! I especially love the picture of your niece with the cherry face and hands; can you say JOY?! Love the Bobbi Bear, too. :)
