No-neck owl!
I'm so unsure whether to post about my purl bee entries here, but I guess it is part of my crafting life, right?
It's so funny to see the owl from this perspective because it's actually quite small. All of my sewing eccentricities are amplified, like my tendency to put the right eye higher than the left eye. And his wings seem a little high, don't they? But it's a fun project and he's a cutie no matter what!
By the way, mouse over the photo and you'll see a little text show up. I've always wanted to do this but never took the time to actually figure it out. Luckily, Bella Dia had a little tutorial on her blog earlier this week. I love bloggers!

he's a cute little thing. I didn't realize that was his beak--I thought he had a little blond tuft of hair! The stump is absolutely perfect!
He's adorable! I think the eye thing is pretty realistic -- I bet if you measured a bunch of people, most of them would have uneven eyes, too. Besides, it makes him lovable!
Ack! Love it! The photo text is too funny.
The owl is so cute that after I saw it I immediately bought the pig kit and the book! Talk about impulse buying!
Thanks for the link to the text for the photos!
So cute! I saw your post over at Purl Bee. Another project to add to my extra long list!
Your owl is really cute, and it's ok if the beak is up high, it makes him unique!
