when you can't sleep...

... you blog!

This hasn't been a very productive craft week for me because Rob has been sick and I've had a migraine for the last two days. I take over the counter medication for them, but they have lots of caffeine which makes me do weird things, like rearrange the living room and put up lots of art (which all started from cutting a dress pattern out, but that's a long story).

I did manage to make two potholders.


This pillow (making pillows was one of my resolutions! yay!) is made from some wonderful fabric from Kristen Doran. I plan to make at least six more pillows, but this is a good start.


I'm very happy with this art display. It's my Amy Ruppel piece (how many times can I show this on my blog? I love it so much!), a metal and wood piece made by Rob's parents' neighbor (and local high school art teacher) Mrs. Block, and a Gocco print I bought from Restless Things.


I think I have an obsession with birds right now - at some point, I'm going to take a picture of all of the bird items in the house. It will be the most photo-intense entry ever.
