Freddy the lop-eared big-footed bunny

I think everyone in the crafting world is a big fan of Wee Wonderfuls. I definitely am! I bought the big footed bunny pattern the day it came out.

When I showed Rob, he wasn't as enthusiastic as I was. To quote, he said, "It looks like the rabbit from Donnie Darko".

Well, I guess they're both rabbits? Anyways, to keep Rob from getting nightmares from the bunny, I made him lop eared.

I decided to name him Freddy (because someone named Freddy would wear short pants, right?) He's made of linen and muslin and is wearing pants from some of my kimono material stash. My favorite part is the back.

Cute tail!

This is another fantastic pattern from Hillary. Cute, just hard enough to keep it interesting, and unique. I originally made him as a gift, but I can't give him away! Freddy's staying home with us.

And, it doesn't look like the rabbit from Donnie Darko.

So cute! I love the colors you chose for his body. I can't wait to sew one myself!
