Getting mail is fun!
Most days, I don't even pay attention to the mail. It's only bills, Time Magazine, circulars, and Interweave Knits. But today, I hit the jackpot.
Hmmm... what could be in this box?
Why, it's the first installment in Sundara Yarn's Petals Collection!
So beautifully wrapped and presented! A card and lollipop to boot!
Unki thinks the yarn looks good enough to eat.
So, not only did I get some great yarn, but I got something that I've been working for the last year and a half.
I am officially a credentialed teacher! Yippee!
Of course, I have to put up with the fact that Arnie's signature is on my credential.
And what does Unki think of my credential?
It makes a good surface to lounge on.
I am working on some knitting projects, mainly birthday presents, so no pics of those. I'm also working on a plain version of Amelia Raitte's Cherry pattern.
And my Sundara yarn scarf is coming along slowly but surely.
So, a great mail day. Thank you US Postal Service!

Yea Mari!!! Congratulations on all the wonderful things today.
Congrats! What a great mail day.
On my monitor, Unki and Cherry look the exact same color.
Calla Lily! I'm so jealous that I couldn't jump in on the petals collection.. I can't wait to see what you make. And CONGRATS miss teacher!
Congratulations, Mari! The sock yarn looks really lovely. :-)
congrats on your credentials!! you've been working so hard, it's great to see the payoff!
Congratulations! Hard work pays off.
I didn't join the Sundara sock club since I am already on the STR club ... but I hope Purly would take in new members next year. The Calla Lily colourway is soooo lovely!
Congratulations! I'm new here but really enjoy your site. I'm looking forward to seeing your new sock yarn turn into a project.
Yikes, Arnie signed your certificate? That is unfortunate. But, enough of that. Congratulations! You've worked so hard and I bet you will be a fabulous teacher!
I'm so glad you liked the package!
Congratulations on your credentials! Your WIPs look great ... and your cabo top really makes me wish I could sew. :)
Glad you have joined the Petals KAL and that I found your blog!
What a lovely mail day - and congrats on the certification!
Congrats on getting certified!
Cool! I can't wait to see your plain Cherry cardigan. I've been wanting to make a plain one myself (and your choice of yarn colour is lovely. Very tasteful) so I'll look forward to seeing how yours turns out! Are you having to make any adjustments and do lots of counting? This is what has made me hesitate so far....
Many congratulations on your certification! :)
Congratulations, from one certified teacher to another!
