Knitting report

Thank you for all of the nice comments about my Green Gable sweater! I would definitely recommend the pattern to everyone, as well as the knitalong.

For Mother's Day, I made my mom a pair of socks from some Koigu Kersti I got in a trade with Blossom.

Kersti is quick and easy to knit with. Aren't the socks cute?

I'm still working on my deep-v vest.

I'm excited to start cutting the steeks - my first fair isle steeking project.

Do you ever find yourself looking for a needle and find it on a project that's been lost and forgotten? That happened to me this week when I was looking for a size 3 needle. It was attached to my poor Orangina, so I have resolved to try and finish it.

Just the ribbing to complete.

My last project is a mistake rib scarf using Sundara's merino silk yarn. I tried many, many patterns to use with the yarn but I think this is the best one.

I'm making it nice and long and skinny - hope it works!

Ooh, Orangina would be perfect for summer. You *should* finish it!

And I have to start on my Eunny vest too!

You're almost there! The ribbing will be done in no time! What are you planning to use the needles for?

Funny you should mention needles being stuck to unfinished projects... I swear half of my needles are "missing" right now! I just pulled one of them out of a cardi that I know I'll never finish. But you, you've got a beautiful Orangina waiting for you! You're so close to being done. I love Sundara's silk and wool yarns. If it were a food I would gobble it up!
