Distracted by yarn

I've been unable to finish my second mega boots sock because of a certain fellow blogger, whose yarn I just can't resist!

Here are some recent purchases I made from Sundara Yarn. All of her yarn is so beautiful and the colors are so rich and saturated - the photos don't do them justice. The top two are sock yarns (Cherry Blossom and Acid Daffodil), the lower right is aran silky merino in Rusted, and the lower left is merino worsted in Smattered.

Can you blame me? I immediately cast on for a scarf in Smattered.

I LOVE this yarn. It is nice and firm and feels great through the fingers. And it's superwash! The pattern is this one from Mag Knits, I just decided to make it all garter stitch instead of ribbed.

Hopefully I'll have time in a month to fully enjoy knitting my purchases - four more weeks of student teaching left!

Look at all your cute yarn! Yay! I love how smattered is knitting up. Very cool. Isn't that yarn ridiculously soft? It is one of the few 100% wool yarns I can wear around my neck. And you really can just throw it in the wash. Super fab!

I can't wait to see more! You are such a fabulous knitter!

Gorgeous, gorgeous yarn. That silky one looks absolutely scrumptious.

Great idea to change the pattern to garter stitch. Very pretty.
