A couple of wild and crazy socks!

Yarn - Regia 6ply Crazy Color, 1 ball, size 3 needles (52 stiches)

I bought this yarn on sale a while ago from Little Knits, but they only had one ball left. I hoped I would be able to manage to get one pair of footies out of it. And I did! With lots of weighing on Rob's cooking scale and doing them toe up, Purly Whites style. I have just two little bits of yarn left. And of course I didn't worry about the pattern matching. I don't think the pattern ever repeated anyways. I decided to try the Elizabeth Zimmerman sewn cast off, and my first sock was way too loose. My second sock came out just right. Yay!

It's been hard to get some knitting in the past couple of weeks, so socks like these are the perfect way to spend an hour or two after the day is done. I've now knit with a few different types of yarn, and I really like Regia. It's not as scratchy as Lang Jawoll, they are really comfy and the colors are fun! My goal is to try to knit with as many sock yarns as I can. So far, I like knitting with Lorna's Laces but I like wearing Koigu. I think my next pair will be ribbed Koigu socks - yummy!

Such cute socks, and I love that they took just one ball to make. Look forward to seeing more sock yarn reviews!
