Knitting!
I've been working on several projects, some of which you might see in a different home on the web (I'll let you know if/when that happens). But I have found the knitting bug again, in a sweater for Rob.
Do you recognize this sweater? It's Jared's Cobblestone Pullover from the latest Interweave Knits. When I saw it, I had to make it. I know there are some really great ones out there, I'm just hoping that it'll turn out to be a sweater Rob can wear in public.
I've been knitting for myself too, a strange project that I'll talk more about when I get further along.
I had jury duty last week, I didn't get chosen for a jury, but I did learn how to crochet! Don't know when I'll put my new skills to work, but it's nice to finally have that under my belt.
I also got a copy of Joelle Hoverson's Last Minute Patchwork and Quilted Gifts. What a great book!
Every page has a great project, here a few projects that I haven't seen photos of yet.
The only question - what to make first?

I love that orange quilt!! I want something just like that.
The Cobblestone is next on my list to knit for my husband. Right now I'm working on an EZ Seamless Hybrid. I think I have to ease him into the sweater thing -- garter stitch might be a tad too adventurous for him still! Rob seems like the kind of guy who can pull it off!
The thing you're knitting for yourself is very intriguing. Gorgeous colors! Can't wait to find out what it is ...
I am making the bird wall quilt, Someone to Watch Over You.
i love the orange quilt, too. only last week i got a copy of denyse schmidt's quilt. and i can't wait to make one.
